O que é uma textura alpha?
Transparência em texturas em arquivos do tipo TGA e PNG, que podem ser carregadas (upload) através do seu Visualizador, que são armazenadas como uma grade de dados em uma escala de cinza é chamada de canal alfa.
Elas geralmente são usadas para criar formas orgânicas, como chamas, árvores, roupas com tecido rasgado – praticamente qualquer coisa onde as dimensões visíveis do contorno do objeto são indesejáveis.
